  1. I have seen several "weddings on a boat" most people love the idea and think it very nice which they are in most cases. I have pros and cons for it. This is my opinion.

Pros: Your guest stay the hole time (no eating and running), It all included on on package and is set price, no hunting down vendors comparing prices. I was told it a very stress free way to  plan a wedding. I also enjoy the fact it not just a wedding but a cruise many have never been on and not the average wedding. Cost efficient.

Cons. Children on a moving boat not being watched is asking for problem. Several smaller boats use the same room for everything means a lot of up and down in and out for your guest and because they don't  have much room they set the "extra chairs" stacked up and all along the side of the hall so you have room for dancing (means stacks of chairs in the back ground of your pictures). If you want something special that none of the required vendors offer it guess what "no can do"

I just think it really depends on the couple. I love the idea but look into the boat take a good look around before signing paper work as if you can see it set up how you have it for each part of the wedding.

  2. My brother was married on one of their yachts (I think it was the Athena). It was very nice. Honestly, after you get on the boat and the ceremony begins, you forget you're on a boat to begin with. It was also nice because there was a set time to get on and set time to get off. I don't really remember much of the dinner part. They had a buffet and I couldn't tell you what the food was (nothing special). It was kinda close the whole time so I was always next to someone, which I didn't particularly care for. But all in all, it was an experience that I will probably never have again. Have fun and make sure you're on time! If you want to know any more, let me know.

**I wanted to add a couple comments in response to the above poster.. for the yacht that my brother was married on, there were three levels. Before the ceremony, on the first floor there was a bar and little snacks like nuts. Then next we went to the top level for the ceremony (all set up and everything). After the ceremony, the wedding party stayed upstairs and took photos, while the guests went to the first floor to have appetizers. After the photos, all guests and wedding party were invited to the second floor to have dinner. Then once that dinner was done, we all went back up to the third floor which had been cleared out (to I dunno where, but all the chairs were completely gone except for a few small tables with a couple chairs by them). At this point, my brother and his wife did their first dance and all of the cake cutting, etc. Once all that was over we had a little bit of dancing (maybe 30mins) and then next thing we knew, we were back to port. The married couple waited by the exit to say goodbye to everyone and then off they went to their honeymoon!

  3. Yes. Oh my goodness what a beautiful wedding. Very magical and very relaxing. A perfect place to get married, good luck
