Has anyone been on the Committee for School/playgroup?

And regretted it with a passion? I had an easy year of it, but then the manager left and the second year is constant erren runs, meeting, staff appraisals, things I dont have a clue on really, being the boss, giving refrences etc. What was your experience like?

You know, it's funny you ask this.  It's my opinion that no matter what school your kids are at about 10 parents become the core group that does all the work.  I'm always one of the ten and it's a merciless, thankless job!!!!!!!
