Has anyone been on the canival ship the Destiny?

Is the ship nice? How was the ship? Any stories?

I was on the Destiny a few years ago.  I would suggest you temper you expectations as it is a bit outdated.  Don't get me wrong I had a ton of fun on the ship it just doesn't have the bells and whistles of some of the newer ships.  The staff was fantastic and the food was delicious.  

However, if you are looking for a party the Destiny is definately the ship for you.  Make friends with a bartender and you'll probably get a few free drinks along the way or at the very least they will make them extra stiff. Also make sure you get a rueben sandwich from the deli it was the best I have ever had.  The pizza is also pretty good too.

Lastly if you are leaving out of PR make sure you stop at the Brickhouse in Old San Juan.  The place is a dive but they make some serious hurricanes, just do yourself a favor and stay away from the category 5's they'll knock you on your butt.
