Question:

Has anyone been on this website?

I recently found this website-www.freerice.com. (I'm not sure how to make a link, so you'll have to cut and paste, sorry) It is run by a non-profit that donates rice to help stop world hunger. Anyone can help by playing a word game. All you have to do is match a word with the correct definition. For every word that you get right, they will donate 20 grains of rice.

I think this is a fun, easy way for regular people to get involved in the fight against world hunger. Let me know if you've tried, and if you haven't, I highly recommend it. Thanks!

I'm glad you are thinking of ways to deal with world hunger. But this may not be the way.

Can you imagine how many grains of rice it would take to fill one sack. Multiply that by 1,000's and it would take until the end of time to fill them all. This is certainly not a serious venture. I don't  know what their motives are, but I bet it is untoward.

If you really want to get some insight into dealing with world hunger I'd suggest you study the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. See the link below. Especially Goal 1, "Eradicate poverty and extreme hunger."

Or you could check our web page, One World Link, dealing with the Millennium Goals. If interested I'll invite you. My email is public.
