Topomax was wonderful but after 2 months I developed a horrible dry cough that seems to be a side effect. I read somewhere that Wellbutrin has worked well as a prophylactic. Any links or info to help confirm this for me? Thanks everyone.

  1. I've always had migraines....And about 10 months ago I was injured on my job and now when I work vigorously at Physical Therapy I get what I call whole body migraines....I ended up in the hospital one day last fall with one of those whole body things and I'm not sure what all they gave me there to get rid of the darn thing....Took em like 8 hours....Anyway....The Dr. sent me home with a drug called Compazine....it's mainly prescribed for nausea...But it does the trick for me...The generic is called Prochlorperazine...and it's not expensive at all....The only down fall with it is your not supposed to get any sun...But who wants to lay in the sun when you have a migraine anyway....lol....Best wishes....
