You can use the site below to confirm that you do not need to apply for a visa.  You will receive a tourist card while on the airplane.  Just enter your nationality and destination and click for the info.  If you have other questions about visiting mexico, you may  e-mail me.

NO  you do NOT need a visa as a pre-condition to board a flight bound for Mexico. You should be given one on the plane.  If not there will be plenty at your detination.

Everyone is granted one , unless you have been here before and are "wanted" for some sort of offence.

If you are flying from Romania the airports counters have lots.Or you can go to your local Mexican consulate and get one in advance but your DO NOT NEED A "VISA TO COME HERE.  You need one to visit here.

You will be able to board a plane bound for Mexico with only your Passport.

They are usually for 180 days.  Do not lose it as you will be asked for your "Visa" when you exit the country.

If you are flying and you have lost it---Not so big a deal, your passport as proof of your arrival.

It will be a problem if you are exiting the country by land without a passport and a "Visa" if you are stopped at the checkpoint which is now more often than not.

Technically, you are required to carry it with you at all times but they do not enforce it
