In November 2007 Aerocare said were were purchasing the CPAP machine/humidifier and mask. They said they would run everything through Blue Cross/Blue Shield and since our deductible was met, it should ALL be covered except for around $450 which we could pay out monthly. We heard nothing at all from them so we assumed our insurance had covered everything. Then in June of 2008 suddenly they began running claims through that were dated 11/02/07. By this time, we were with a new insurance company and it does not cover pre-existing conditions. Also, it is a new year, so we have a new deductible to meet. As it turns out, Aerocare said they submitted everything in November but somehow had a wrong Insurance ID# for my husband. How could that be - they made a copy of his insurance card! Now we find out that they were renting the machine to the tune of $180.00 per month so we are out that amount for each month from January thru July?

We returned the whole machine last week!!!
