Has anyone been shopping in Progreso, Mexico?

Going on a bus trip to shop and whats to know where is a good place to shop and what is there to buy.that is worth buying.

Progresso, MX is on the Yucatan peninsula. In case you mean Neuvo Progresso, across from Mercedes, TX, then, I could tell you many things. The cheapest place to buy liquor is Angels (pronounced /awn h***s/), The Galleria, El Disco, The Canada store. Those 'malls' are good places to shop too. The best place to get margaritas is in the back of some store a couple doors south of Rene's bakery. There is a bar back there called Elsa's. Across from LaFogota restaurant, you will want to have a cerveza in the Rose Garden.

Progreso is a popular name in Mexico and there is one city named that in every other state.

There are hundreds of colonias and likely one in each large city.

Visit google Maps there are 10 places in Mexico named Progreso I have been to the one on the Baja if that helps
