Has anyone been through a step parent adoptions in Nh?

My ex husband owes me over 20k in child support, sees my two young children once every 3 months or more.. no calls for Christmas or birthdays, very little interest in them. My new husband is a very loving father, is very involved in school, in doctors appts and daily care and would love to adopt them. What is the process in NH and is it hard to terminate rights from a drug addict with limited to no involvement in the childrens lives?

Wheres NH?? Im in England and my hubby has just adopted my son who never met his father but they still had to ask him, even if he had of refused they said he wouldnt win due to no interest or support, i think you've got a great case, if i were you i'd go for it, it was the best thing we've done,good luck xx
