  1. I was there 4 years ago on my way home from the Democratic Convention.  I was working not a delegate.  The airport didn't appear to be overly large or hard to navigate for me.  Definately not as big as Atlanta or Dallas Ft. Worth.  It depends on home many times you have flown and how big the irports are that you are used to.

  2. it's not huge, but large and is fairly simple to navigate. plenty of people willing to help you find where you need to be though.

  3. no its not huge but it is pretty big and no its not complicated to navigate

  4. I live in Windsor, Ontario, and fly frequently in and out of Metro (Detroit's airport).

    Check out their website:

    www.metroairport.com

All the info you need will be there.

From personal experience, I have never found it too difficult to navigate.

There is more than one terminal building, a hotel, shopping, onsite and offsite parking (offsite being cheaper).  If you're flying Northwest by any chance, they built a new terminal about 4 years ago, set about a mile from the main complex.  It's pretty flashy with a monorail to get you from gate to gate, etc.  The other terminals are older, but OK.  One, I believe is for strictly international flights, and perhaps charters.  The other terminal (Smith) provides service for all the other major airlines.

  5. Easy to navigate.  If you airline is Delta or Northwest, you will find yourself in one of the best terminals in the country.  The other airlines are in the new terminal that is opening at the end of September, so you should be in for a treat.

  6. i live in michigan and fly through the detroit airport all the time.  certain areas of detroit airport are nicer then others.  northwest has a great new termanal.  just built.  there are many signs to show you where to go.  there are nice resterants to eat at and its very well built.  the spirit airport is much older and is currently being rebuilt.  but over all its a nice airport.
