Question:

Has anyone been to Aosta in Italy?

I'm planning on going there next year and wondered what it was like....

If not, how about somewhere near it, preferably on a main train line.........

  3. Hi! I live not far from Aosta, in Piemonte. Aosta is a beautiful Romanic city, with ancient ruines and the arch of August. It's not very big but it's beautiful to see and characteristic. Enjoy your trip!

  4. it's not the best town in Italy..Bolzano is better than aosta,in fact in my opinion trentino alto adige is a wonderful region..i'm italian and i know italy very well..kisses!!

  5. Pretty nice little city or big town, it depends on your point of view. Mostly french speaking people. Beautiful mountains. French border at very little distance. People is nice but a bit snob. Go ahead mate, I really liked it when I went there the first time. I've come back many times.
