Can you snorkel with a wet suit and not freeze? Is it really rainy, or just cool? I can deal with temps in the 60's if it isn't raining...any help is greatly appreciated!!!

  1. Hi Lori

I moved here last February 1st and it was in the 60's and mostly rainy. The 60 deg seemed cold because it was very damp and windy here. High winds will also make the water rough which takes away from the snorkeling experience. However, the winter thus far has been generally very warm with not much rain/wind at all. My friends whom are long time residents say that it is an unusually "Bermudaful" winter so far. That being said the southern Caribbean islands and Florida are still having temps in the 80's with much warmer waters and high tourist season. This is good because snorkel boats will still be running daily trips, but bad because hotel prices are bound to be higher. Here is a link to Frommers Carribbean destinations page. http://www.frommers.com/destinations/car...

I'm sure you will be able to figure something out from here.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
