Has anyone been to Brazil in June? whats there to do there (In Rio) - any recommendations for places?

I am interested in a vacation in south america and wondered about brazil - is it a safe place to visit? what about Cuba, whats that like? Thanks!

Hello. June in Brazil is really a good time to visit places everywhere, but not necessarily Rio. Rio is a beautifull city, but one of it's most desirable places are the beaches. Since June in winter over there you would be too confortable without clothes. Even tho, the winter in there is like spring in the US.

If you are thinking Brazil in June, you could go to Fortaleza. There's really no winter over there, simply beautifull places to see.
