  1. I'm a so happy for you because you will have THE time of your life in Cuba. You will make friends for life as well.

As Richard said (and has given you great websites to look at...and the pictures are true to their description), there is so much history and culture, beauty all around. The beaches are just simply gorgeous!...and there is a beautiful warmth with the Cubans. No matter what they deal with in life, they do their best to make the most of everything and are always singing and smiling.

Treat them with respect and they will treat you the same and look after you. They are a dignified people and respect those are the same.

You will not want to come back home lol!

Here are a couple more sites...not sure if they're duplicated though.

Have an amazing time in Cuba! Be sure to learn how to salsa :-)

Where in Cuba are you travelling to?

  2. heyy i live in the u.k all mi familia are from cuba i've been a few times its beautiful your gunna have a lot of fun just remmeber to put your salsa shoes on! :D

  3. Cuba is incredible, Cubans are proud of their country and will treat you like gold.  There is everything in Cuba, beautiful beaches, mountains, history and most important the Cuban people.  Chances are you go once you will return.  Take a look at the links below they will give you some idea of what you have  to look forward to.

  4. Presumably you are not from the US. If you are you should be aware that there is still a travel embargo on Cuba and the state dept frowns on travel to Cuba unless it is pre-approved (usually for humanitarian/mission work).  That said, I have read very positive reports from Europeans that have visited and loved it.  There is a lot of history in Havana, and the people of Cuba are supposed to be pretty friendly.  Things have loosened up under Raul Castro some, but it is still not exactly a free society.  As always, the best way to find out the facts is to actually go yourself, then make up your own mind.
