Has anyone been to Edgbaston Botanical Garden?

Is it worth going with kids ages 5yrs and 3yrs.

Yes i love it there, but not for young children.

For me the best time is when the rhodedendrons and azaleas are in bloom late Spring/Early summer.

The children may not be fully appreciative of the plants and flowers, but there is plenty of space, they may be interested in the large lily pads and an especial favourite of my daughter were the peacocks.  She found that if stared at one and put her head on one side, the peacock did the same.  Gradually tipped her head further, and so did the peacock - eventually, it fell over!
