  1. I have been to Florence many times - used to live about 2 hours from there.  Florence has many things to do, but I especially like the museums and the street vendors. There are certain days in which some of the piazzas are filled with vendors selling a huge variety of products - some not so good, others are great bargains!  I love to sit and people watch as the tourists come to see the Duomo. I love to walk along the Arno River and watch the rowers going down (or up) the river. I love sitting inside some of the churches and just imagining what it was like back in Michelangelo's day when he and others would be walking in the same spot. The Ponte Vecchio is a great place to shop, but the prices are higher than they have been in years.

My final thought:  Everything is fun to do in Florence!
