Has anyone been to Hotel Jupiter-alcudia/majorca?

whats it like for 1 adult and 2 kids..i'm worried about the food and distance to the beach!

Its in the Bellveu Complex and about 10 min walk to beach although from the outside all the way to the beach there is shops and cafes but be careful crossing the main road to the beach, there is traffic lights but they dont use them, it is beside the lake and there is lots of mosquito's and I mean lots of them, take antihistamine tablets 2 weeks before you go that helps.

loads of familys with kids stayed there when i went, food wasnt amazing but it was quite nice, good selection, things like chips, soups, pizza, salads, chicken, fish, fruit, potatos, icecream, burgers, pasta, veg,

take loads of insect reppelent and high factor suncream as majorca gets VERY hot in the summer.

the bars are good at the hotel and there are kids clubs all day and evening with activities and games for them.

there is about 12 pools at the complex which get very crowded but the beach at alcudia is gorgeous.

alcudia has a harbour with lots of nice restaurants, bars, pubs etc
