Has anyone been to Iran as a tourist and if so what was your experience??

I am married to an Iranian who hasnt been to Iran in 8 years and we went there this month for a trip. I wanted to know what experiences other people had of the country as a tourist.

it depends on the trip..i mean where u go..i think every country in the world has its own beauties..and Iran is one of them..the boy who's answered first of all,hates Iran,,u can understand it from his"about me"..so i think that's why he's answered like that..i think hating the economic,or religious,or social circumstances of Iran,doesn't lead to hate whole of Iran..as one of the answerers has given u some links,u can see Iran's beauties...and it doesn't depend to Who has been to Iran(i mean their nationality)..i have an originally American friend who loves to see Iran once,and Iran is a"Must see"country in her list for tourism.

Im an american boy with iranian parents who lived there for 8 years and came back to US a year ago and im telling you that it sucks!!!!!

dont go there one of my mexican american relatives didnt like it at all.
