  1. I'm Irish - living here.. to the person who mentioned redheads - study geography or at least get therapy!! Typical Irish features, are dark hair blue eyes and palish skin - there are many different hair colours in Ireland, including red but we have a mixed heritage, so a bit like many 'newer' countries that have developed from older cultures, there isn't "one" particular feature.

    Advice - bring an umbrella...

  2. i'm Irish living in Dublin. great place and great nightlife but very expensive!

  3. I just got back from Dublin on July 9th!! It was very fun, and a really cool place. Definitely somewhere I would actually move to!!! It's a great city, with a lot of cool, young people. The average age of a person in Dublin is around 24 - 25! Has a great vibe, no crime, beautiful sceneary & history...and cute Irish boys!!! You can't go wrong!!

  4. I WANNA GO SO BAD!!

  5. It is the most beautiful country in the entire world.  The people there are warm, friendly, and kind.  The Irish have a delightful sense of humor and are probably the strongest people on the planet earth.  The economy there is doing great (it's no longer the poor country of Ireland).  My mother was born in Castlemaine.  About eight years ago my sister and I took a bus to that small town.  There we were without a car and one of the shop owners closed up her store just to give us a brief tour!  And then another townie gave us a ride back out!  If my kids weren't waiting for me back in Michigan, I think I would have stayed in Ireland for the rest of my life.  Go and visit... you will be so glad that you did!

  6. of course i would...been there b4, I was a bit nervous at first but people were really nice, ive met a lot new friends there...visitors could discover humour, hospitality, scenery and the quality of life...t'was a great experience for me..

  7. greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen. hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiills

  8. It was one of the most memorable trips I've ever had. Loved Dublin. Went to pubs. Driven there by a cabby who taught us what "pogue ma hone" (sp?) means. One was built in 1200. Yes, that's the year...1200. Had my first Guinness there and I've been hooked ever since. Loved the people. Friendly is too trite a term to use to describe. They made me feel like I was family.

I would live there. Rain and all. Women with dark hair and white skin. And everyone knows how to tell a story.

  9. The most magical place ever, all those stories in previous answers are so true. But, stay away from dublin if u can. Dublin is like any other city, go west to Mayo. I was there on my holidays, stayed in a small town called ballina, it was a good place to stay, it was in the centre of everything from senic views to the "old ireland". I would live there in a heart beat

  10. never been there. red heads freak me out
