  1. I took a camper van and my 2 boys aged14 and 15.  We had a great time.  Went over to the west coast to Brandon Bay.  The ring of Kerry is a bit touristy and traffic is one way and  a very trip, over 100 miles I think.  It is beautiful over there and the people are great.  Another of my favourite places are Dingle and the Inch peninsular where the film Ryans Daughter was made.  Also the Connor Pass is a great drive over the mountains.

  2. Live there - at the moment it's wet and windy.

  3. i am irish and im ere right now looking outside and its just so wet and miserable!! me and my friends always laugh and wonder why ireland gets so many tourists! wouldnt you all prefer to go somewhere hot and beautiful like australia??

  4. full of East Europeans hard pushed to find irish people

  5. My Husband and I went on a Tour of Ireland and we really enjoyed it. The Scenery was beautiful the days out were very interesting and we saw some lovely places and the People were lovely

  6. I spent 4 years in Ireland it is best if you go and spend time in the rurlal Ireland not all the tourist things. You get to see alot more. I thought the food was awful. and the roads were pretty bad, but the people are really freindly and it is beautiful.

  7. I went last summer, it was beautiful.  The people I met were wonderful. The food was amazing, and the scenery was even more amazing. There were castles all around and history beaming from every street block. I spent most of my trip in Limerick, which is a fantastic city. If you have the opportunity to go, do it.

  8. well im not irish but been here for 5 years...the only bad ting is the rainy weather otherwise its all good..theres loads of s**y fellas ,trendy shops and loads of drink

  9. The country is beautiful but Dublin has been ruined since the last time I went.  I first went in the 90s for a week and then last year for nearly a week and it was horrible.  FILLED with wretched tourists, so overpriced that it makes London look like a Bangladeshi flea market, and not an Irish person in sight.  Everyone is a Polish immigrant.  I don't have anything against Poland, but if I wanted Poland I'd go to Poland.

I'd say go to Dublin for a day or two MAX and rent a car and spend the rest of the time seeing other parts of this AMAZING country.  The other cities and towns are breathtaking, the views out of the cities will blow your mind, and the people are kind and welcoming.  And funny.  :)
