no I hav'nt been and although I like him as a chef having seen the place on tv it does nothing for me there seems to be no atmosphere would much rather a cosy place for dinner where not so crowded

I've not actually been to his restaurant, but I did get some risotto from his stand at the Taste of London festival last year (http://www.channel4.com/life/microsites/... ) and I thought it was REALLY good. In fact it was so good, it got me hooked on risotto!!

I know Jamie Oliver personally and I must say that he is a simple nice guy, but his restaurant is largely overated and like himself the product of media hype and astute marketing. I've been there through an invitation for the launching of a cookery book that was full of pretentious people. To be honest I wouldn't spend a single penny in it as a customer. Beside he is never there and the kitchen itself is an absolute chaos.

The food was ok, but a bit fussy and the place was quite cramped. It feels like they try to get as many people in and out as possible.
