If you have could you tell me what you thought of the place, and what is like.

Is there a pub? and shops etc.

A few of us are thinking of going camping there in a couple of weeks. I've heard there are some fantastic cliffs.

  1. I passed through ... we were staying in Inverness and drove up to catch the John o'Groats ferry over to Orkney ... there wasn't much there ... there was a hotel and a sort of holiday village place which had a nice beach ... there isn't cliffs actually at John o'Groats much, they're a bit further along the coast

I did a search for John o'Groats on Flickr, the photo sharing website, and this is what it pulled up ... you might find it interesting to browse through them

the ferry over to Orkney is well worth the trip ... it's a foot ferry ...

if you want to take a car you've got to go from the other place further along the coast (can't remember the name but I'm sure you'd find it on google

If you are camping there is a Youth Hostel there and also a Tongue to the west.

  7. Yes, there is 'A' road, 'A' beach, 'A' nice pub, 'A' place to camp and 'A' shop ...

And you can spend there 'A' whole hour without getting bored.
