Has anyone been to Kenya or Tanzania?

I'm going on a safari to Kenya and Tanzania in a few months and was wondering if anyone has any tips for me.

Also, I have to stay one night in a hotel and if anyone could suggest a hotel in Nairobi (that is somewhat close to the airport) that would also be greatly appreciated.

Kenya is so much fun :)  There quite a number of hotels in the city centre which is quite close to the airport like Norfolk, Inter Continental and Grand Regency hotel. Wish you a lovely trip!

I was there in the military and I loved Kenya we were in Mombasa i was actually at the hotel that got hit with a bomb. The beaches were so awsome. Have alot of fun and be nice to people it gets you far.
