Has anyone been to Macae Brasil? And can tell me about it?

I used to go there many years ago when it was just a small fishing town. It is about 100 miles north of Rio de Janeiro Over the years, and with the help of all the oil money, it has grown to be a good-sized city.Still, there is a lot to see and do in and around Macae. There is an old lighthouse that was built in the late 1800s a national park,mountains for hiking near by and several very nice beaches, the best known are Pecado and Cavaleiros and also a series of beautiful lagoons.Tthere are too many cars now and traffic can be bad at certain times.There are also many people from different countries/nationalities who came during the oil boom time who now are retired  and make Macae their home.
