  1. Well I have been in Madeira in

    January

    February

    March

    April

    May

    June

    July

    August

    September

    October

    November

    and

    December

All that to say: I live in Madeira :D

Well, the weather is almost all the year hot. In the south side yes, but in the north there are many cold days.

At the south side is Funchal, the big city of Madeira, and if u stay there, the weather is always great!

And even when there are clouds and wind, there is ALWAYS hot!!!

Well, I'm just 16, and I don't think that I'm surrounded by old people :D

It depends on what u do! if u go to drive in buses that show u Madeira, well THAT'S something for older people!

It's really cool to walk here and explore the "levadas" and the "laurissilva"!

But there is also action! Discos (the most famous is "vespas", but there are many others!), Casino, just walking near the sea, beaches, shopping (I have to say that the malls here are soo beautiful! All are great, but Forum Madeira and Madeira Shopping are the two that look really beautiful!), cinema, and everything that there are also in other places!!

If u can, u can spend one day in Porto Santo! It's our little neighbour island! It's totally cool, but also totally different! Madeira is all green and the beaches are dark sand, in Porto Santo it looks like a little desert but the beaches are with white sand! Also a beautiful island and the most common place that Madeira people visit in their holidays!

Well, and if u go to Porto Santo, I give u one advice that people from here know, but others almost never: DO NEVER EVER DRINK WATER FROM THE TAP! Well, I don’t know if it’s spelled like this but what I mean, u know, water that comes out of taps in bathrooms or kitchens and so.

    So, visit Madeira!

    It's a cool island!

    Cheers, from madeira :D

  2. The weather is fairly constant through the year, but August should be ideal lie by the pool weather (there are no beaches worth the name).

There is not a riotous night life.

  3. I've just returned from Madeira and think its a fabulous place. It's not the place for you if late night clubbing is your idea of a holiday. Its a fantastic place to relax. It used to attract an older crowd but the is changing due to the fact that more airlines are now flying there(including low-cost airlines). You should head to Porto Santo for the day (or more if you have the time), its a beautiful island with a nine mile beach! You can get there by ferry (see link). We Stayed at the hotel below which was fantastic...the service was amazing!!! Weather in August will be mid to late 20's - its basically the same all year round. Have a good holiday
