Specifically, I am looking to see if anyone by chance has stayed at the following private villas in Manuel Antonio:

1. The Jungle Villa

2. Casa Romano

3. Any other private villas that you have stayed at in Manuel Antonio and had a positive experience.

  1. Manuel Antonio beach is beauiful. The hotels wont matter, because you will wanna be at the beach the whole time soaking up the sun.

  2. Hi,

  3. When I visit Manuel Antonio beach I always stay in Quepos at the Great Western Karmuk Hotel downtown Quepos - which is only ten minutes from Manuel Antonio beach and much, much cheaper than the two places that you mentioned!

I pay $50.00 per night for first class accommodations and my room has all the amenities that I could possibly ask for - including a coffee maker with coffee, cream & sugar!

I plan on being there in June - Again!

Love it! And would not think of staying anyplace else on the West coast of CR!

  4. Try Costa Verde

  5. We experienced our first visit to beautiful CR last year! We chose to take 18 days to stay four days in each different part of CR so that we could fairly differentiate. We enjoyed each & every place we visited; each having their own unique characteristics. Manuel Antonio beach was a beautiful genuine touch of nature. We stayed at a wonderful place called Tulemar, with villa type bugalows right upon the Pacific . Every day experiencing awesome sunrise & sunsets with contiuous view of the vast Pacific ocean. We traveled from San Jose south to Dominical attempting to see as much as we could reaching as far south as we could in the 18days. Eventually we found several acres only a few Km's from the unique beauty of 'The Whales'Tale' where the whales, Dolphins, turtles come during breeding seasons...A quaint lil town called 'Uvita' will one day be our home. We hope to return there this May 2007 & see our property flourishing with hundreds of fruit trees/plants which we had planted by year end 2006. It is strongly suggested that you allow yourself comfortable amounts of time to travel & enjoy all the awe Costa Rica has to offer. PuraVida!

  6. the Jungle Villa is nice but the Best Western Karmuk Hotel in downtown quepos is cheaper and is about 10-15 minutes away from manuel antonio beach.
