Has anyone been to McKirdy's steak house in Edinburgh? And if so what was it like?

Yip McKirdy's in Morrison street is the best place to have a steak in Edinburgh, much much better than all the other so called steakhouses that just sling your grub on a grill.

I have been there with my partner a few times the food is always amazing the portions generous and the bill very reasonable apart from that you dont feel rushed to eat and go, we have sat for a good couple of hours just taking our time and have always felt comfortable to do so, this is one restaurant that has got it right in every way give it a go I dont think you will be disappointed.

Never been to the restaurant but plan to go.  This is my local butcher and this is the best steak I ever tasted!  Provided for our wedding and it went down a treat - it would just be nice for someone else to cook it
