Has anyone been to Mexico (Playa) recently ? Am concerned about the weather.?

If you have just come back from Mexico (Playa del Carmen or Cancun), I would be grateful if you could let me know what kind of weather you had. I travel on 28 Sept.

The online weather report shows cloud, rain and thunder but I wonder if this is just for a short time each day ? I hope its not rainy all day !!!

I just got back on 9/7 from Playa Del Carmen. We actually stayed in Playacar on the south end, but the weather was sunny all week with the exception of one day. Everyday the weather report showed thunderstorms, but it only rained about an hour one afternoon. It was very hot.. and humid. Make sure you have a hotel with good A/C. There was quite a bit of beach erosion from DEAN, but the beach and water are still beautiful. One day the surf was pretty rough. That was the stormy day. We stayed on the beach under a palapa durimg the rain...no big deal...the sun came back out and it was  a great afternoon.

I just got back last Friday and the weather was gorgeous!  There was hurricane Felix near by, around 500 Miles South and not a breeze was felt.  Don't worry, weather is beautiful in Cancun, even when it is cloudy.  It is a tropical place and the weather changes, but always warm.  Have fun!

I was there went swiming oin the bech will never swim thre again i would recamend isla mjeres insted  plya good for dining  cancun good for parties puerto murelos good for quiet ness and laid back sea shell hunting and isla mujedas good for swimming and kyaking and dining on the beach

the hurricane´s dean and felix just hit here a few days ago, but know the weather are really beutiful, i just been here in the summer vacations ( 21- 30 in june)
