Has anyone been to Napier in New Zealand?

Billy - it wasn't Napier that had the earthquake, it was Gisborne. Napier had their eathquake in the 1930s I can assure you they have cleaned up since then

Sorry I can't advise on where to stay although I have been there many times. Maybe someone else can help

really like Napier,we stay with friends there,so i cant really help you with accommodation info,but the place has nice cafes its on the bay and Ive always enjoyed it-and if we ever moved to N.Z id consider Napier.
