Has anyone been to Plaza Garibaldi- Mexcio City?

what were some exciting things you remembered visiting there?

I was there on New years eve 2007. Not very good place to be at that time but the Main Zocolo was interesting with a skating rink , great Christmas lights mimes etc with lots of police present, no problems despite the large crowds. Plaza Garibaldi is famous for Mariachi Musicians , there were a few but perhaps most had been hired for the night it being New Year. We ate in a good restaurant with entertainment just off Garibaldi Square that was fun to bring in the New Year. If you are in Mexico City visit the Museum of Anthropology in Chapultepec Park with its stunning architecture and great exhibits. .Take in  a performance of the Balet Folklorico  in the Bellas Artes and enjoy is grandeur. Make a trip to the Ruins of Teotihuacan it is worth it. and take a trip to the Floating Gardens of Xochimilco it is a fun place

Well to tell u the truth i dont like it, but as a tourist, u may find it amusing, you just have to be careful, cause Garibaldi is like one of the most dangerous places in the city, u shouldnt go alone at all, and u shouldn't go so late
