My husband and I are going to Santa Ponsa with the children in a couple of months. We went to Cala Bona last year and we loved it. Has anyone been to Santa Ponsa? What are your views on it? We're staying at the Hesperia Hotel. Thanks

  1. Santa Ponsa is lovely, im 14 and i went with my Dad and stepmam, and siblings. We all loved it! The beach is beautiful and theres lots to do. Theres loads of shops and lots of nice places to eat. Nothing bad to say really, everyone there is kind.

    You will love it!

Theres this lovely restaurant, my favourite i cant remember the name but at the end of the beach there are some rocks. You walk along the rocks or go up the hill at the side. Either way you can get to it. You can see it from the beach but the view from there is extraordinary, its right next to the sea and has amazing entertainment. When we were there they had gymnasts and once fire throwers. The food was great too.

    Hope its still there!

Edit: I just found the road name it is Calle de Ramón de Montcada. And it is down an alley towards the sea from there.

Its there :) Just where that pier thing is i think, but along there, there is a couple of nice restaurants :)

  2. Wish it was me - I went to that hotel last year and it was fantastic, we went beginning of June and there was a kids club but not as much as the other hotels, the hotel is across from beach and next door to MacDonald's, the food is good, evening entertainment is good but could be better, the evening entertainment in the Pionera, round the corner is better. I have also been to Cala Bona and I prefer Santa Ponsa. My kids have now grown up but I still think Santa ponsa is a family resort and not really for single teenagers.
