Has anyone been to Stintino in Sardinia?

I am thinking of staying there in June for a week with my partner, we are young couple, just wondered if we should stay there or any other suggestions? Flying to Alghero airport but will have a car, hoping not to drive too far!

Stintino is great and an hour should be all you need to get there. June is also the perfect time to visit - weather not to hot and not too many tourists.

It's quite near the Alghero airport and yes, is lovely but apart from the 'nuraghi' and the lovely coastline in Sardinia there isn't that much more to see, I much prefer Sicily.........The sea is even better than Sardinia's (I've been to both so I know) but there is so much more to see and do in Sicily

I've been there a couple of years ago (in the hotel Cala Rosa)

and Stintino is absolutely awesome. I strongly  recommend going there, mainly if you go in June ,when there will be not the crowd of middle July till end August.

is not that long - abt 35 miles - and it takes abt. 1 hour by car
