Has anyone been to Tulum, Mexico?

I'm planning a trip and want to find out a few things like good food joints, good hotels, interesting activities, and enything else that others think is worth mentioning.

No but I have been to Cabo San Lucas Mexico and Puerto..both very nice but too hot

when we were in cancun,  we took a bus ride to tulum,  1 hour 45 min.  it is very nice.  we went to the ruins there and to a place called xel-ha  (shell-ha)  awesome. swim in underwater rivers,  snorkel,  swim with dolphins...  it is very nice down there.
