  1. I didn't see it personally,as I was only 8 when he died, but  my mom was a big fan. She had a bunch of videos of some concerts and music videos.

    I imagine it was amazing to be there in person. The videos give you a general idea, but I'd say the real deal was indescribable.

    There is a Live at Wembley concert video. It's worth getting.

  2. Saw them in the mid 70s in Ft. Wayne Indiana. They opened with Bohemian Rhapsody. Really cool opening. The entire first part of the song, all the way through the operatic parts were recorded. But when the Brian May rocking guitar started they all came onstage and rocked the rest of the night. One of my favorite concerts of all time.

  3. no unfortunately, i missed the opportunity to see them in ireland in '86.

    my bad.

  4. Saw Queen with Freddie live in 1986 at Mt Smart stadium, Auckland ,New Zealand.

    Fantastic concert and in the middle they bought on Tony Hadley , who was the lead singer of Spandau Ballet (very big at the time) and he and Freddie sang a song (can't remember the song)

    I have seen well in excess of 300 live concerts and this still remains in my top five. Freddie's voice was amazing and Brian Mays guitar work was outstanding.The stage lighting was awesome and Freddies stage presence was so strong , he just captivated the audience.

  5. I know your problem. I became a fan when I was 16, was only 2 when Queen played their last concert in Hyde Park. So sadly never seen a real concert. I think if you would like to get close to that experience;

    a) go to Queenzone.com and start downloading video bootlegs of all the old concerts and watch them. I used to do this and my favorite is I think is Earlscourt 77.

    b) go and see Queen+Paul Rodgers. Yes there is no Freddie or John, but it will be your only opportunity to see Roger and Brian live in action.
