Has anyone been to a dentist where they put you to sleep before they start working on your teeth?

I am deathly afraid of going to the dentist. I have heard of places where they put you under before they start working on you. Has anyone heard any horror stories or stories of it being a great experience?

I think they use it on kids. Just ask the dentist. I heard of this one dentist who would rape the patients after putting them to sleep. Doubt its true tho.

my friend used to get this

they gave her giggle juice or gas or w.e.

and she said it worked fine

some other doctors use other things

but i hear its fine

you just have to pay extra or something

happened a half a block where i live and where my entire family goes.  Dont mean to scare you but be very careful and they are not supposed to put you to sleep totally unless really needed as in my case where it was excruciating to open my mouth and had to be put to sleep in order to pull a wisdom tooth growing on my jaw.

They do not really put you to sleep, but they give you a small dose of Valium to take the edge off.  You have to take it before you leave your house and someone must drive you to your appointment.

You need to STOP looking for horror stories...because that IS what you will find here.......Why would you want MORE horror stories...

What the dentist does is CURE and REPAIR the disease in your mouth. IF you want to become HEALTHY you would realize that is the point of dental visits!!!
