Has anyone been to an Essendon F.C. Open Training Session?

They are having an open training session next Wed 9th July and I am wondering if it is worth bringing the kids down from Ballarat. Do you actually get to speak to the players and get some autographs or do you just watch them train and then go home?

i went to one a couple of years ago and there was a BBQ, we watched the players train and we got autographs and afterwards we were able to have a kick on the ground. we couldnt train with them but they were very friendly afterwards and talked to us kids a lot, especially matthew lloyd who was extremely friendly. im not sure what happens these days but im expecting it to be along those lines.

Yes, when I've gone to Bulldogs one's previously normally they do stay out on the ground and greet the fans and take photos etc.

I havent but I would love to be able to go! If you do, I hope it turns out the way you wish... and plz say "Hi" to the players from us deprived fans in Tassie!
