Has anyone been to an Olympic event?

Which one did you go to? How did you like it? Would you ever do it again?

The 2016 Summer Olympics may be in Chicago (USA), and I've always wanted to maybe go to an event (mainly the Opening and Closing Ceremonies). I could've seen the flame come through San Francisco (I think), but I had school :-( My late aunt brought me a Coke bottle from the Torch Relay, but I think my parents threw it away.

unfortunately no I haven't.  I really do hope that Chi-town gets the 2016 games.  GO CHICAGO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!

i went to the hockey in sydney

south africa or a south american country will get the games in 2016 so maybe 2020

live in Sydney and went nearly every day to something different when it was here in 2000. It was the most fabulous two weeks. I went along to sports that I had no previous interest in because I could get tickets and had a great time. If you ever get the opportunity I would highly recommend that you go along not only to the big events but to anything.
