Has anyone been to an indoor ski hill/terrain park?

I was wondering if anyone has been to an indoor terrain park. Whats it like? The snow is melting here and I can't afford to go to Australia!! I wonder if ppl in LA would go for one...

  1. Yeah in England they have a few snowdomes, and also dryslopes which are outdoor parks which use surfaces such as dendex or snowflex instead of real snow. As said above its not the same or as good as a proper mountain but it means you can ride all year so it does have its advantages. The snowdome in Milton Keynes which i go to fairly regularly has a park with rails and kickers etc and they have also had a halfpipe from time to time.


  2. thats a cool concept, but my favorite part of snowboarding, is the beauty of it all, i mean your on the top of a mountain, covered in falling white, its amazing, and an indoor park would only have walls. and you did mention LA and if you are from there and cant afford to go to australia, drive up to the rockies here in b.c.!

  3. One is being built in New Jersey.  It should be open this fall. It's called Meadowlands Xanadu
