Has anyone been to calgary?

Question

Going to Calgary, Canada in a week. Just want to know from people who been there is it good? Whats Calgary zoo like? Whats the shopping like? Whats the weather like? Did you enjoy your time there?

I'm from rural Saskatchewan, but i've been to Calgary about 5 times, and it's a totally awesome city. The zoo is PHENOMINALLY AWESOME!!! believe me, you'll LOVE it! shopping is pretty good too. We went to 2 malls when we were there: Chinook Mall, and Market Mall, and both malls were awesome. the weather is similar to how it is in SK, and you also MUST go to the Calgary Tower. the tower is so awesome, and they got a glass floor now. very expensive though lol

yes, i live there, the zoo is very large and lots of animals, and a gift shop. the weather can change every day, right now its raining but it might snow tomorrow who knows? i luv it here cuz im a city gal and  the shopping rocks some other places to check out THAT are open are:

I live here.  The weather is supposed to be quite nice next week.  Right now it's raining pretty much none-stop.

The zoo is one of the top zoo's in North America.  It will take you ALL day to do the zoo if you want to catch all of it.  

There are quite a number of malls you can choose from.   Chinook is the largest.    Downtown has a lot of connected malls and a beautiful indoor park.   Devonian Gardens is a wonderful indoor park that is well worth seeing.

I went to Calgary many years ago (1990).  It was the Calgary Stampede and that was amazing.  I remember it as warm, clean and very interesting.

my  boyfriend has, its a big city he says stay away from parks in the city as they r nicknamed crack parks. There r ment t b tramps on drugs n stuff but all in all its very nice when its hot its hot but when its cold its very cold
