  1. September and October are the slowest months for Cozumel and Cancun.  There are typically tons of "good deals"  and cheap packages to be found.

Weather is warm, with some rains int the mornings, but nothing major.  You can check any major weather site for more information about conditions close to your travel dates.  It is in theory Hurricane season, but historically there are no many storms in September.

Even in these slow times there are plenty of tourist to make it fun, but it is often a great chance to visit places that get very crowded, like Xcaret across the ferry from Cozumel.

Good chance for diving and shopping since there will be little crowds and tons of bargains.

    Have fun.

  2. I was there in Nov.  It was nice but still warm/hot.  The ocean was a little rough.  I know Nov isn't Sep, but it's kind of close.  You'd have a good time.

  3. Went to Cozumel on a cruise last yr. The weather was beautiful.  Tempuratures in the lower 90's. We had a 10 minute shower that morning but the rest of the day was fabulous.  If you will be out in the sun please take sunscreen/hat.  Even when it cloudys over and it feels cooler outside the sun will burn you.  We were there on Christmas Day 4 yrs. ago and we still swam in the water. I think the weather will surprise you. Hope this helps and have a great vacation.
