Has anyone been to croatia? some help needed quick!?

My boyfriend and i are going to croatia on holiday in september and were wondering if anyone could give us some info...

we are flying into and staying just outside zadar

what are the best things to do, go see, etc??

and any other info you can give us about the place would be a great help
