  1. it is a day trip and you have to return on that day, or there is trouble as you have technically stayed in Turkey illegally and they will not let you back without a major fuss.

If you do the ordinary day return trip there is no problem and you pay nothing. THEY  TAKE YOUR PASSPORT AS YOU ENTER tURKEY , NUMBER IT AND RETURN IT WHEN YOU ARE BOARDING THE BOAT TO LEAVE THE COUNTRY. Do not listen to scare stories, they are trying to frighten you. Some people bring extra bags to cope with all the cheap "designer" t- shirts they purchase!! Enjoy yourself

  2. It is no problem whatsoever.  I'm going to Turkey this year and will be doing the opposite to you - Bodrum to Kos and also doing the Bodrum to Rhodes trip - if they have got the ferry running.  These trips go every day and thousands of people use them - including the Greeks and Turks themselves.  Don't worry about it.  Book the trip when you are there.  It is much much cheaper than going through your rep and you will probably be on exactly the same trip!  This goes for any excursion you want to go on.

  3. I have- it was a few years ago, and i don't recall there being any problems at all

  4. I don't know the answer to your question, but I know that if you stay there then you may have a problem. I'm sure the day trip is fine, they arrange it all for you.

    Have a wonderful holiday.

  5. Went to Chios (Greece) then on to Cesme (Turkey) and back again. Lovely places to visit, nice people (especially in Turkey) had a wonderful time. No problems whatsoever.
