Has anyone been to roatan or utila in honduras?

i'm going in march. just wondering what to expect

I've been to both islands. They are very beautiful. Roatan is quite developed with many hotels and restaurants, etc to choose from. Utila is not like that. There are places to stay and eat but not like big resort style hotels. There are a lot of Europeans in Utila for the many diving schools there. Both are wonderful places. Great beaches!!!!

Roatan and Utila are part of the bay islands. Nice beaches, on Roatan you are able to do snorkelling on the coral reef. Which is the second to the Great Coral reef. It is not a higly devoleped touristic place with the big hotels. But you will be able to find nice hotels. Climate should be fine. It rarely rains on March in Honduras. Utila you can do scuba diving with whale sharks. But I am not sure on this time of the year. Utila is not as developed as Roatan but is nice.
