Has anyone been to san juan puerto rico?

hey everyone. Me and my family are going to san juan puerto rico over spring break. Has anyone been there. what are some cool things to do for a 16 year old. Thx for the help

Im Puerto Rican. Yes, San Juan is the bestest city ever...great food, nightlife and great everything! Puerto Rico also has the biggest mall in the caribbean, btw:

san juan has alot of english speaking people so its going to be easy for you..they have LOTS of stores and you hear salsa playing from a mile away..its just fun man you gotta come here your gonna have fun and bring back lots of souviners!

oh & did i mention the MALL?!?

Things close to San Juan

Old San Juan - historic old walled city with 2 forts, a cathedral, cobbled streets, Paseo la Princesa promenades (especially on weekends), numerous restaurants.

El Yunque rainforest - several trails, waterfalls.

Culebra beach (close to El Yunque)

Bio Bay tour at fajardo

Day trip to Culebra

Arecibo Observatory and camuy caves (if caves have re-opened)

Ponce in the south

Try the local food from restaurants and road side kiosks

West Coast -

Rincon for surfers and beaches - might get to see some whales (although best time is Feb)

Cabo Roja Light house

San German and the oldest Church in Puerto Rico and the New World

Hey,

San Juan has couple of forts, a lot of places to take picture and eat well.  A lot of historic stuff to see there, go to Old San Juan.  Also you can ask at your hotel for some tours, I will recommend to go to the rainforest(El Yunque, pronunciation= el-ˈyüŋ-(ˌ)kā).  It is pretty cool.  It also has a lot of squares and some nice places to go shopping.

Have Fun!!!!!!!!!  

I will strongly recommend to go to any (or all) of these restaurants: "Ropa Vieja",  "Ajili Mójili" or "Dragonfly".

Yes, was there a few months ago.  Lots of cool forts to check out and lots of shopping too.  Have fun!
