Has anyone been to the Andaman & Nicobar islanlds?

I've heard about these islands, but want to know if they are beautiful and worth traveling to or not. For instance, would they be pretty like and island like Puerto Rico or are they just as beautiful as an island like Bora Bora or Fiji?

They are beautiful. Untouched. Natural.

Been there before the Tsunami. people are good. They do not cheat.Cottages are very comfortable and peaceful on Neil Island.

Food is simple and good. Talking of Govt owned ones.

Do not expect sophistication. Never seen Fiji etc.

Looks like the land of Lotus Eaters.

they are beautiful, but dont have much infrastucture and are not maintained - they are pretty rural - not many hotels, etc
