We booked a couple of weeks there but we are not sure about the dress code. And also, is the staff as good as they say ?

Thanks for your answers.

  1. Le Prince Maurice is one of the most prestigious hotels in Mauritius.  The staff and services are first class.  Have a nice holiday!!

    Dress code

    Breakfast and Lunch

    - Smart casual (no bikinis, no sleeveless t-shirts for man)

    Evening at the bars/restaurants (6.30pm)

    - Jacket and tie are not necessary for dinner. Elegant chic (no t-shirts, bermudas, shorts, sandals or slippers)

    Check its website

  2. Dress code

The resort is quite informal, though the bars and restaurants require a certain level of formality. Men won’t get away with a Freddie Mercury-style sleeveless vest at dinner.

    And

"The politeness, scale and level of service encountered throughout our ten day stay from all the staff was incredible and I have never stayed anyway that could match the service at Le Prince Maurice."

    And

Service: Amazing. Staff-to-guest ratio is very high. They bend over backwards for you. Totally 5 star.

    And

The staff are so friendly and helpful and the setting is simply marvellous. The grounds and the beach are a credit to the establishment.

    And

The Junior suite was very spacious and the bathroom was almost as large with a large bath and shower big enough for two. The housekeeping were very friendly (as were all staff) and if you are worried- there is an in-room safe.

    And

The staff was very helpful - although not intrusive at all - and keep the place very quiet ! Guys at the nautic base were very very nice and help U trying skiing, wakeboarding, wind surfing, etc etc
