Has anyone been to the Isle of Mann TT?

Do they let you watch just about anywhere or do youu have to stay in certain areas?

Your a little bit late, its been.

They close the road for the races, but you can ride out to any part of the track to watch the days racing then ride back to where you are staying. the road is opened one way on Mad Sunday so you can tear around the track knowing there is nothing coming towards you on the wrong side of the road as you cut corners.. the mountain section is truly awesome. the only recommendation I would give is make sure your wheels have mirrors. because no matter how fast you go someone will be passing you (very Quickly)

To answer the question you are restricted to where you park up for the duration of the days racing/ practising.

the marshals will move you if your sat in a dangerous position too close to the track or on the outside of a fast corner. but common sense would tell you that.
