Has anyone been to the Marksman pub in west bromwich,birmingham ??

was it any good there?? im going there this friday and want to know if it will be worth going lol.

First of all, don't let the locals hear that you think West Brom is in Birmingham... it will not make the evening swing!

Actually I haven't been in the Marksman for a very very long time (seeing as for how I now live Torquay way it's hard to pop in for a quick beer after work).  Back then it was not really the best place to take a girl on a first date... but by now it could well be a theme pub with glitzy stuff going on!
