Has anyone been to the french ski resort Val Thorens ?

just looking to find out your opinions or any helpful advice !

I went in march this year, were a few good pubs and the runs were good

although there was almost no snow below about 2000m which wasnt good and was patchy up until 2400-2500m

but it was a very unluckily warm period I went in....they had snow machines running flat out, but the snow is never the same as natural
