just wondered what parts of it are actually made of ice, how much it is to get in, and is it worth going to see? Was thinking of going with the g/f!

  1. i've never been but it was featured on an episode of The Bachelor last year. the whole thing is made of ice including the walls, floor, shelves, tables, chairs, and bar area so everyone inside is dressed as if their outside in the snow. the drinking glasses they use look like ice but instead are very chilled as if they just pulled it out of the freezer. their shot glasses are square shaped like ice cubes with a hole in the middle to drink out of. everything is clear and white but it's also a very small place considering the amount of cold air needed to keep everything from melting. and it seemed like only one person was there to serve customers so they probably dont allow too many people inside at the same time. that probably makes sense considering too much body heat might also cause melting temperature problems. overall it looked like a cool, fun place to visit.

  2. No but i have heard and it is brill!! GO GO GO!! lol im in a random mood but no serious it is great ;)

  3. It's ok but a bit pricey, worth trying but not exactly great as a local.

  4. It will cost u about  ÃƒÂ‚£15 to get in.

U get one free drink.and u can't spend more than 1 hour inside as it is too cold.U are given a big jacket on entry.

Everything is made of ice eg. tables, glasses, bar.

Novel idea, the lady will love it.

  5. I have heard friends that have gone said it was an experience but wether it was all that.. is left to what you expect i guess. however it is presently closed for refurbishing it shut on the 18th march but unsure when it reopens

  6. what fun!!.. wish we had similar in manhattan...

london is the sexiest city in the world.....

  7. THE thought of it makes me go cold.

  8. I went and it's off Regents Street.  It was £15 to get in and i really didnt think it was worth it.  There was no atmosphere in there, i think they were playing music...but it was not good!  They make you wear jackets and gloves that they give to you because it is cold in there.  You can only stay in there max 45minutes.  They offer you one free drink and it is served in an ice cube looking glass.  There's very few seats to sit on and there's generally nothing to do in there.  It's very hyped up but i dont think it's worth it at all.  I wouldnt waste your time and money.

  9. I went for my birthday last year and it was great! they put these big jackets and mittens on you and then you walk through an archway into a small room where everything (apart from the bar staff) is made form ice. all the chairs etc. And they've got animal skins thrown down on big blocks of ice for you to sit on. I can't remember how much it was now. think it was 15 or something but you get a vodka cocktail (straight) served to you and the glass is made of ice! suprise suprise!

loved it. would definitely go again...might wear warmer clothes this time though! brrrr
